In Australia, Betfair is licensed by the Tasmanian Gaming Commission pursuant to the Gaming Control Act 1993 (Tas). Betfair’s licence runs from 7 February 2006 for a period of 5 years. All racing and sporting events conducted in Australia and New Zealand (and a limited number of events run in other countries) are conducted under that licence.

The Betfair group worldwide also has operating licences in the UK, Austria, Italy, Germany and Malta.

The Betfair group has contractual agreements with the following organizations for integrity-management purposes:
